Stressed Mum 20:13 04 May 10 Uhh? Each vendor uses different criteria as to what constitutes a "bad entry". At start up a process called "services.exe" immediately starts taking 30% to 70% of the CPU to no end. Reference isLC4494 .
Once I restart WMI(Windows Management Instrumentation) from services.msc, services.exe CPU usage literally drops to 0%, and stays there. I tried running it in Safe Mode which didn't work, and am now running it with some of my Startup items turned off (otherwise system performance is way too slow.) Will what should I do next? And I looked into the BIOS settings and I search up and down and didn't find anything about Legacy Devices....
